The project is Phase 2 of the Temporary Food Court Renovation at the UTM Campus. Phase 1 was completed by other general contractors prior to this project. The major construction work of this project was to modify and upgrade the existing HVAC, Plumbing, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Power and Communication Systems to meet the new Food Court needs. Dineen completed the construction work during a full school term and this required that all of the construction be completed during a fully operational campus adjacent to other occupied buildings.
Although existing unforeseen conditions forced the re-design of many aspects of the original design, Dineen was still able to complete the construction work within the allotted time period and the Temporary Food Court was occupied as scheduled.
